Keep It Movin'

Keep Moving
... or walking. Mary Mary are singing a contemporary gospel song now, where they refrain "I'm walking."  When I think of "walking," for me it means...'on water'. Many of you know that I'm currently working on a book of inspiration as well as a sequel to my first novel. In my musings, I consider many things (of course). If I am to keep walking, I have to keep my focus and trust in God. I have to believe the things in his word to be true, therefore, not believing what I see or hear because those things can be an illusion or distracting.  Which often times they are.  Keeping it Movin' makes me think about those wind up toys we played with as children. Perhaps I'm dating myself (I'm a young baby boomer). Any hoo, I digresss... those toys for the life of their wind, never stopped. Even when they hit obstacles - bumping into walls, furniture and the like. They didn't stop, instead they redirected and kept going at least until they wound down. We can think of the wind down in two ways, either it's time to rest or our expiration date has come. My point is, trust in The Lord and no matter what the obstacle, pray, redirect and keep movin'

AMEN to that! In my own experience, I have found that stagnation in ones life breeds negativity. If we keep moving forward, no matter how hard it may be at times, there is very little time to become stuck! Even if the pace that we are moving at is slow, it is STILL progression.
